Show SPIKE Atwod and Muckey getting instructions from Editor Ross. When last year’s Golden Spike won a first class honor rating in the National Scholastic Press Association Competition with only six yearbooks getting the higher All-American rating, a brief announcement of this accomplishment was read over the loudspeaker which perhaps a few students heard and appreciated. So, this year’s staff is using this space to pay tribute to Editor JoAnne Cliften and her staff of last year for what we still consider was an AIllAmerican yearbook. We know what labor and skill of the staff and advisor went into that book for we have tried to equal their efforts and ac- complishments this year. We know that no team or coach or book staff your staff, works harder longer than Saturday workers: Ross, Smith, Atwood, Muckey, Renstrom.
