Show 22 WEBER ACADEMY Since changes may be necessary from year to year, students who register for any course will be permitted to graduate in the course as laid out in the year in which they register. A Unit of Credit. To each course prescribed in this catalogue is assigned a value expressed in "units," or "credits," which is intended to express the amount of work in that course and its value in the fulfillment of the requirement for a diploma. One "unit of credit," or one "unit," means the amount of credit earned in a subject meeting for recitation five periods per week for one academic year of thirty-six weeks. Two laboratory periods are counted equal to one recitation period. At the rate of three units in one year, and four units in each of the other years, a student will earn in his four years fifteen units of credit, which is the minimum requirement for a diploma. No fraction of a unit less than one-half will be allowed. The following courses of study are offered for 1913-14.
