Show 44 WEBER NORMAL COLLEGE The recitation periods are sixty minutes in length, including supervised study. Weber Normal College recognizes quality as well as quantity of work. The student's grade is based on attendance, class recitation, periodic tests, and semester examinations. The amount of credit which is given toward graduation for any subject is determined from the average grade as folllows: Credit for a Mark Unit Subject A 1.2 units B 1.1 units C 1. units D .9 units E .8 units In order to receive grades A and B students are required to do extra work sufficient to justify the excess credit. Students whose work is not complete or who fall below 60 percent. in any subject may be marked conditioned or failed. Conditions should be removed during the semester following the condition. If this is not done, the condition becomes a failed. FEES AND EXPENSES Entrance Fee $15.00 Entrance Fee for Mid-year Students 7.50 Special Entrance Fee, 1 unit subject 6.00 Special Entrance Fee, 2 units 10.00 WEBER NORMAL COLLEGE 45 LABORATORY FEES Botany 1.00 Chemistry 2.50 Commercial Third and Fourth Years 10.00 Domestic Art 2.00 Domestic Science 3.00 Diploma 3.00 General Science .50 Manual Training 5.00 Penmanship 2.00 Physics 2.00 Physiology 1.00 Typewriting for students not taking the Commercial course. 5.00 Zoology 1.00 These fees in all cases are payable in advance. The diploma fee is due May 15. After a student has once registered he will be held responsible for the payment of all fees, even though he change his course or discontinue. Under no circumstances will any part of these fees be refunded. The students of the Weber Normal College are held responsible for any injury done by them to its property. On application to the registrar, students may obtain permits to purchase student tickets at half price on the Utah Idaho Central R.R. Co., and Bamberger cars for use in passing to and from school. |
