Bovine Battle Royal HEDY Lamarr and Lana Turner would probably have been surprised if they had visited the Weber college campus for the Phoenix Cowmilking Contest. The manner in which their namesakes performed was not as glamorous as might have been expected. Saxon Roush quieted the two cows long enough to fill her bucket with 360 c.c. of milk and win the title: "Milkmaid of 1942". The cowmilking contest is sponsored annually by the Phoenix club. Contestants are sent by women's social clubs to compete in the event. Contestants this year were Alice Hodges, Sophvita; Meda Lou Winter, Otyo' kwa; Caroline Hobson, Tiki- Kappa Kappa; Eva Jean Morris, La Dianeada; Betty Lou Smith, Chanodo; and Saxon Roush, Iota Tau Kappa.
