Show Ladies' Choice February 17th's Preference Ball gave the gals a chance to invite the fellow "with whom they would most like to be seen at a dance" to the annual festivities. In the traditional way preferences were handed out and then it was all up to the fellow to make the date. Friday night amid lacy fans and lavender silhouettes Gary Spencer was given the loving cup as Preferred Man of 1950 despite Dale Young's attempts to stuff the ballot box. He tried, Don. Beverly Deemer and Diane Jones take advantage of an opportunity and deposit their preferences for the Ball. Phil Evans discovers he's prefer-ed and then following the same old procedure, makes the date. The climax of Charm Week came with the Preference Ball on Friday night. Diane and Phil are one of couples pushing each other around at the dance. Anne Rasmussen's preference turned out to be the most Preferred Man at Weber. Joan Crawford was chosen Friendliest Girl of 1950 at the Friendship Banquet, March 1. She wears a necklace with seven stones symbolizing the six clubs and the unaffiliated girls on the campus. The Chanodo girls were the perfect hostesses at this annual affair for Weber College women. The theme "Jewels" was used, and each club contributed its own gem to the crown of friendship. Club prexies Ilene Kendell, Car-o 1 y n Jensen, Joyce Taylor, Donna Olley, Delsa Davis, and Gayle Smith complete the Crown of Friendship.
