During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show SAT. FEB. 24, 1894 Montpelier Idaho I arrived have at 4.20 pm today The weather is cold and there is plenty of snow. I met Mira at Bro. Clarks and went home with her ate Supper there and spent evening most pleasantly with Mira. I slept at Uncle James. SUNDAY 25 Paris I called on Mira a few moments this morning and went down to S school with her. Then Willie and I came to Paris. I found Mother well and glad to see me. Marion is very sick with heart disease. Spent evening at home. Paris MON. FEB. 26, 1894 Have spent the day at home and visiting relatives and wrote a letter or two. Folks are all glad to see me I made a careful examination of Marion and find a bad organic lesion of mitral valve of heart TUESDAY 27 Paris I went to Montpelier this afternoon and Mira came back with me. We went down to Amasas and later spent the evening at home We enjoyed being in each others society again and time passes most pleasantly |
