Sunday, January 22, 1928. Have spent all day at home. Mrs. Randall of Nevada spent the day here. She & Dr Baker were here to dinner. Myrene did up the dinner work. Cleone & children were here for a while. I stayed up writing until one AM & this looks like it Dr & Myrene went to bed early. We listened to Radio Sermen at 9 PM. Mary went back to SLC. Munday I wrote several letters. Monday, January 23, 1928. Snowing a beautiful day. I have not been out today but have cleaned up the house and prepared meals as usual. This afternoon Ida Truseder called to talk over Relief Society work. Nora Pardo and I have worked on the sixth Vol of Pioneer clipping. It is very interesting work but takes a lot of time. So many pioneers of Utah have died the last two years. I have had charge of this work for twelve years. Mrs Pardo & Mrs Rose Ballantyne have assisted me also some others during these years. I worked alone all evening & retired at eleven thirty. Drs patient whom he operated Sat. removing a large portion of the stomach is doing nicely. Blanch & Junior came in this eve.
