Show Monday, December 3, 1928. The phone disturbed Dr a good deal during the nite so we got up late. There is a lot of Flue. Dr Ezra better. D Orr Cozzens wife and baby came down today. He is not well has sines trouble. I have done a two weeks washing alone today. Mrs Walker who washes for me is sick with Flue. This evening I went to RS Board meeting also to hear Dr our child Peye retire late. A cold night snowed some today. A letter from Republican State Com asking for a report etc. Tuesday, December 4, 1928. A cold morning but sun shining so I hung out the rest of my washing. Prepared breakfast. D Orr is feeling better did up house work prepared dinner. This afternoon went to 9 th Ward Relief Society made so buisness calls came home about six PM. Mrs Backar called on buisness. Dampened down cloths. Wrote to Avon. also recd word from NY that Gladys Bevawand Mrs Knowles had arrived there. Dr advanced the money for them more than a year ago. |
