Earl Swenson DRAMATICS Dramatic activities during the year 1928-29 were featured by the presentation of two major plays—“Monsieur Beaucaire” and “The Family Upstairs.” ‘Monsieur Beaucaire” was chosen as the annual competitive student body play and was presented December 14. The faculty, on January 2>, presented the comedy drama, ‘““The Family Upstairs.” Both plays were successfully produced and well received. 7 An inter-class one-act play contest held in assembly February 11, was won by the Juniors, who made the challenge. An all-star cast was chosen and “Gaius and Gaius Jr.” was presented several times. Dramatic activities throughout the year were under the direction of Harlen M.
