Jones Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, General Electric Company After graduating from the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania in 1939, Reg joined the Business Training Course and served as a traveling auditor. He was named ManagerFinance of the Switchgear and Control Division in 1951; General Manager of the Low Voltage Switchgear Department in 1953, and General Manager of the Air Conditioning Division in 1956. In 1958, he became Consultant, Marketing Services, and was named General Manager of GESCO later the same year. He was elected Vice President of General Electric in 1961. He became General Manager, Construction Industries Division in 1964; was named Group Executive of the Components and Construction Materials Group in 1967; and became Vice PresidentFinance in 1968, and Senior Vice President in 1970. He was elected a Director in 1971; became Vice Chairman and Executive Officer in March 1972, and President and Executive Officer in June 1972. Present position, December 1972. Location: Fairfield. Edmund W. Littlefield Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Utah International Inc., and a Director of General Electric Company. After receiving bachelor's and M.B.A. degrees from Stanford University, Ed joined Standard Oil Company of California in 1938, saw wartime service in Naval Intelligence and Petroleum Administration for War, 1941-45, and worked for the Golden State Company, 1946-1950. He joined Utah in 1951 as Vice President and Treasurer, was elected a Director in 1953 and Executive Vice President in 1956. He became the company's chief fulltime officer in 1958, when he was also elected General Manager. Became President and General Manager in 1961. Dance Vice Chairman and Executive Officer, General Electric Company A 1940 graduate of Dartmouth College, Dave became a sales counselor for General Electric Appliances Company in 1948, was named national sales manager in 1956, and became Eastern Districts Manager, Sales and Distribution Department when the department was formed in 1958. He became General Manager of Dishwasher and Disposal Department in 1959, and of the Household Refrigerator Department in 1961. In 1962, he was named General Manager of Hotpoint, was elected Vice President in 1964, and became Vice President and General Manager of the Major Appliance and Hotpoint Division in 1966. He was named Group Executive, Appliance and Television Group in 1968 and a Senior Vice President in 1970. He was elected a Director in 1971. Present position, 1972. Location: Fairfield. Jack S. Parker Vice Chairman and Executive Officer, General Electric Company Jack received a BSME from Stanford University in 1939 and joined General Electric at the Hanford Atomic Works in 1950 as Manager-Separations Division. He became assistant to Manager-Design and Construction, and was named Operations Manager-Aircraft Nuclear Propulsion Department in 1952. He became General Manager of the Small Aircraft Engine Department in 1953 and of the Aircraft Gas Turbine Division in 1955. He was elected Vice President in 1956 and named Vice President-Public and Employee Relations Services in 1957. He was named Group Executive- Aerospace and Defense Group in 1961 and was appointed Executive Vice President in January 1968. Present position, 1968. Location: Fairfield.? |
