Show Monday, January 2, 1928. Dr and I went to hear the Tabernacle Choir give the Messiah the orchestra was very good also the choir but other than Albert Southwick Bass the soloists were not very good. Thair and Cloteel went home this evening. Most of the family were here to listen to the foot ball game between Penn and Stanford over the Radio. Mary went back to school yesterday. Avon & June drove Thair & folks down to Salt Lake. Tuesday, January 3, 1928. Today I attended the funeral of a dear old pioneer Jane Truseder who lived to be eighty four years old. I am very buisy all the time as I do my own work. Myrene is teaching at the Pingree Mary is attending the U of Utah. I am feeling well tho my blood pressure is too high. We have as small a family at home now as we have ever had but life is so full of worth while things I always wish the days were longer. Dr keeps buisy most of the time. He is very fond of reading and does a great deal of it. |
