During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Mon 9, January 1928. I was buisy at home all morning. Did some shopping this afternoon and prepared a nice dinner for guests Mr & Mrs Morris of Canada Lyman Rich and Wm Rich called today. They are here in Ogden to the stock show. Dr operated on Apendix case has been very buisy today. Avon was here to dinner & Louise Zellar called. Wrote a letter to Fannie Budge. Tues 10, January 1928. Mr & Mrs. Morris of Canada stayed here last night. Myrene went to school with out her breakfast. Mr & Mrs. Morris had breakfast & Dr took them down to Mr Keslers. They are going to run our farm in Canada for the next five years. I did up house work and prepared dinner. William Rich was here to dinner. This afternoon I attended the frunal services at the Fifth Ward of Sister Jane Truseder who died at 85 years. Also called to see sister amelia Flygare who is ill and Sister Bertha Eccles. Took a boquet of flowers to Sister Edith Volker who is sick. |
