Prerequisite, 1 unit of high school Spanish, or Spanish 1 and 2. Grammar review, dictation, conversation, and simple composition. Five quarter hours. Latin LATIN 1. Elementary Latin. Declensions, conjugations, and elementary principles of grammar will be studied and conjugations and their force assimilated by extensive reading. Five quarter hours. LATIN 2. Elementary Latin. The study of the declensions and conjugations and the elementary principles of grammar will be completed. Five quarter hours. WEBER COLLEGE LATIN 3. A large amount of easy Latin will be read to develop the vocabulary and a feeling for Latin construction. Association of Latin words with their English derivatives. Prerequisite, Latin 2, or 1 unit of Latin. Five quarter hours. LATIN 4. Cicero. Several orations will be read. Prerequisite, Latin 3, or 2 entrance units of Latin. Five quarter hours. LATIN 5. Virgil. Three books of the Aeneid will be read and a study made of the scansion. Five quarter hours. LATIN 6. Virgil. Three books of the Aeneid are read and a special study made of the mythology.
