General Zoology. The fundamental principles of animal biology will be taken up in this course, including structure, function, relations, and development of animals of animal and a short treatment of existing theories. Three lectures and two laboratory periods a week. Five quarter hours. ZOOLOGY 2. General Zoology. Five quarter hours. ZOOLOGY 4. Invertebrate Zoology. Designed especially for premedical students. Animal which cause disease, carry germs, or are structurally of medical importance, are selected for laboratory work. Three lectures and two laboratory periods a week. Five quarter hours. ZOOLOGY 6. Heredity. A study of the facts and principles relating to hereditary variation in living things. Three quarter hours. ZOOLOGY 10. Vertebrate Embryology. Especially designed for premedical students and must be preceded by Zoology 4 and 5. This course comprises a study of the chick embryo and the principles of vertebrate development. Two lectures and three laboratory periods a week. Five quarter hours. |
