Show Supreme court hands down | first decision © im WSU court unanimously ules in favor of wit tenrt ge places name on ballot _ By ERIC MORROW _ SIGNPOST government affairs editor : i> 468 unanimous decision, after two hours of deliberation, the ASWSU Supreme Court made its first decision of the year on Friday and allowed student Biff Whiting to run for social sciences senator. _ — — Inresponse to the court’s decision, Whiting said, “I thought the supreme court did a very thorough review, to the point of addressing other ambiguities of the constitu- | tion and the wording of the election packets by-laws.” _ 2 — | Whiting, a part-time, non-traditional student, had challenged the student government eligibility guidelines that said he had to be a full-time student to run for student _ Senate.
