Notice of Public Hearing In accordance with UCA 10-9a-503, Marriott-Slaterville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on July 13, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., at the city office located at 1140 West 400 North (Bldg. 15C). The commission will take public comment on a proposed ordinance amending the zoning ordinance relating to definitions in general provisions of chapter 13.01; amending chapter 13.17 relating to the manufacturing zone (M-1); amending chapter 13.18 relating to the manufacturing zone (M-2); amending chapter 13.23 relating to conditional uses; amending chapter 13.26 relating to regulations applicable to more than one zone; and providing an effective date. Individuals requiring special accommodation(includingauxiliarycommunicativeaids and services) should notify Becky Burt at 627-1919 at least three days prior to the hearing.__ Public Notice Each person seeking to become a candidate for municipal office shall file a declaration of candidacy in person or a nominating petition with the city recorder during office hours between July 15, 2005, and August 15, 2005. Deadline for filing is no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2005. There are three (3) elected positions open for filing, namely: mayor, councilor-west district, and councilor-east district. In order to qualify as a candidate a person must meet the minimum requirements established by state law. The city recorder will review the qualifications necessary to become a candidate and the regulations governing campaign finance disclosure with each person who files. If a prospective candidate does not meet the qualification requirements for office, the filing officer cannot accept a declaration of candidacy or nomination petition. If a candidate fails to file the required campaign finance disclosures within the applicable deadline, the law requires that the candidate be removed from the ballot. Planning Commission - July 13, 2005 - 7:00 PM 1. Call to Order/Approval of minutes. 2. Manufacturing site plan application for Ron J. Peterson Construction, Inc. for, Construction Office, at 1100 West 1615 South. 3. Manufacturing site plan application for Wasatch Plumbing at 1178 West 1700 South. 4. Site plan for Mound Fort Stake Pavilion at 250 North 1500 West. 5. Public hearing on amending the zoning ordinance. 6. Discussion/action on amending zoning ordinance. 7. Adjourn until August 18, 2005. This agenda is tentative and items can and will change. City Council Agenda - July 21, 2005 - 6:30 PM 1. Call to Order/Approval of minutes. 2. Business License: Gail Woodard, 2105 W 250 N. 3. Joint ambulance request for proposals with other local government entities in Weber County: Blaine Holmes, West Haven City Councilor. 4. Interlocal agreement with Weber County for animal control services. 5. Interlocal agreement with Weber County for technical forensic services (CSI). 6. Discussion/action on recommendation from planning commission relating to amending the zoning ordinance. 7. Status of senior center and municipal building. 8. Officers reports and legislative oversight. 9. Adjourn until August 10, 2005. This agenda is tentative and items can and will change. LOCAL UPDATES Road Construction. UDOT now plans to begin the widening of I-15 in the spring of 2006. UDOT has postponed the widening of 1900 West until further notice. Throughout the summer, the city will be making road repairs. Crumbling portions of 1200 West will be patched, sections of road will be chip sealed, and various shoulder and pot hole repairs will be made. |
