Show their evenings at the Marriott home where he accompanied her on the piano. She sang the favorite, popular songs of the day such as: "A Kiss in the Dark", "Mickey", "Pretty Baby" and "It's Three o'clock in the Morning...We've Danced the Whole Night Through". He often joined in singing with her. Home parties were enjoyed as popular amusements in these years. Friends and couples took turns entertaining in their parent's homes. They played the piano and phonograph records and enjoyed the music by singing or dancing. Of course the evening wasn't complete without favorite homemade cakes or pies and often homemade ice cream. In groups of two or three couples, they often toured in cars with the tops down, the Model T Ford being the most popular car of that day. They traveled through Ogden Canyon to South Fork for picnics and occasional trips were made to Brigham City or Salt Lake.
