Roy will be assisted this year by Jack Williamson. Both Williamson and Taylor are graduates of Fresno State College where they were outstanding athletes in their own right. Both lettered for Fresno in football. Taylor has launched his first season as head coach off to a good start by dumping a Bakersfield squad that was supposed to trample his boys. Their second game with Monterey ended with the Visalia boys on the long end of the score. "We know that Weber is priming for us and that Milt Mecham and his boys would like to even up our series by beating us here in Ogden, but we will use everything we've got to win our Weber game.
