Show OBITUARY Lifelong Layton resident Michael Steven Lee passed away on August 24, 2014 in Layton, Utah. He was born March 14, 1956 to Ernest and Reese (RE) Sanders Lee in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Layton High School, and attended Central Davis Jr. High, and Verland Park Elementary. He was a devout Christian. He was employed at Clearfield Job Corp as a warehouse man. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding, gardening and grilling. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. Mike 1s survived by his mother, Reese (RE) Lee; siblings, Dorothy McWee, Lennell (Martin) Avery, J.L. Dixon, James (Roberta) Dixon, S.L. Dixon, Maryann Dixon, Versie Dixon Jr., Yvonne (Homer) James, Ernest Lee Jr, Curtis Lee, Robert D. Lee, Thelma (Mike) Holston, and Mark K. Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lee, Sr.; sister, Bobbie N. Dixon; and his grandparents. A special thanks goes to all his friends for their loving support. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made toward the study and treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia in memory of Mike. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah with Reverend LaMar Jackson of True Vine Baptist Church officiating. Family and friends may gather Friday evening from 6 — 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 — 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at Syracuse City Cemetery, 1290 South 1000 West. |
