Rubie J. Polk, Whereas, God in his infinite wisdom, has once again visited his garden and plucked a flower, Sis. Rubie J. Polk, to add to his Heavenly Bouquet. In the home going of Sis. Polk, we recognize that we have lost a faithful laborer in the vineyard. She was a gracious and faithful servant of God and His Church. Whereas, we, the New Zion Baptist Church Family, desire to place on record our love and esteem for her life and labor, and in view of her efforts and sincere Christian devotion to advance into the kingdom of our Savior. We thank. the Heavenly Father for Sis. Polk, and wish to express our sympathy to her relatives and friends. Be it resolved, that we do bow in humble submission to the will of God, and commit the bereaved family to Him who sees and Knows every heart. That we enter sympathetically into the sorrows of the bereaved, and bid them hope, that they shall see their loved one again. Be it further resolved, that a copy of this resolution is provided to the family and a copy placed in the records of the New Zion Baptist Church.
