Show Band Performing Saturday To Raise Scholarship Funds An unofficial contest will be held in Roy Saturday to determine the support of the city to Weber State College. Members of the Weber State College band program will perform in the Roy Shopping Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Faye Patterson of Roy, who serves as historian-treasurer of the college band, explained that the president and vice president are from Layton and they will be performing there also. “The purpose of the performance is to raise funds to support scholarships at Weber,” Miss Patterson lic will be asked pennies while forms. “We are a mile’s worth added. The pubto donate only the band _ perhoping to build of pennies and to than earn more our Lay- ton competitors,” she concluded.
