Show | October 31, 1947 ~ September 26,2014 EIN - ae Patterson, 9, passed away September 26, She was born on October 31, 1947 to John Alexander and Fern Nielson Patterson. She was raised in Roy. Fae graduated from Weber High and Weber State with a Masters Degree in Music. As a clarinet player, she was in the Weber High and Weber _ State Bands. Fae loved music and played the piano, guitar, clarinet and drums. As a tal-ented artist she painted — many oils. She played softball for the Shamrocks. Fae | was a sports lady and lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Fae taught school and led the bands in Lyman, Wyo) ming; Weston, Idaho; Ogden, | ¢ Soe Utah; North Summit High ~ — a cs and Sandridge Jr. High. She loved her students. She S——— took bands to the Rose Bowl and Calgary Stampede ———, parades. | Fae served in the Air Force Réserves. She loved her country. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fae was a student of the Gospel. She loved animals and surrounded ag with her beloved cats and dogs. They became her fam- . y. _ Sisters, Betty Calvert and Kathryn Stark survive her as does brother-in-law, Dilworth Lyman and her cat Snoopy. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Fern Nelson, Faun Lyman, Mary Guiver, June Johnson, Patsy Patterson and brother, John Patterson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11 am. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
