Phil The intent of our clubsis to promote extracurricular events which encourage members to learn new skills and better techniques. Warriors will carry with them fond memories of enjoyable happenings. . With so many mysteries in the world, much interest was stirred in the Science Club. The additional knowledge members gained truly enhanced their lives. The Ice Skating Club had its ups and downs throughout the year. While learning to skate, amateur figure eighters discovered that the ice was cold and hard. Skiing became a favorite sport of many enthusiastic Warriors. Before the ski season began, members were shown ski films illustrating proper methods. On _the slopes of Snow Basin or Park City, they demonstrated their talents in the snow or practiced their newly acquired skill. Kings, queens, knights, castles .. . of course, Warriors were right in order. Mem- bers of the Chess Club who knew the game taught those who were just beginning. When their moves were perfected, matches were held with other high schools. French, Spanish, and German Clubs worked together to spark interest in the customs and culture of their countries as well as to have fun. Phil Walthers, President. Kidman, Secretary; |
