Show seetiactanesesrantiaetnnsnen pretest — The dances held this past school year at Weber have provided an opportunity to assemble outside of our regular school day, to meet new people, and to strengthen friendships with those whom we are already acquainted. The “Get Acquainted” dance helped start the school year off. This best dress affair was sponsored by the Student Body Officers. The selections of the Royal Four kept the dancers in the groove. Our Homecoming dance with the theme of “Moments to Remember” was very appropriate. There will be sO much to recall as years go by silhouettes of the past. Dances such as “Camelot”, “Crazy-Hat Stomp”, and the ever traditional buddy dance sponsored by the Boys’ Association will be talked about and remembered with much feeling. Perhaps the most talked about, and the ones who entailed the most work, energy thought, and master mindedness were the beautiful Junior Prom and Sophomore Dance. Each was different, as far as decorations were concerned, but each one was equally beautiful. The color for the Junior Prom were shades of dark purple, lavender, and pink. Their theme, “Days of Wine and Roses” was expressed in their decorations. For the Sophomore dance, “A Little Bit of Heaven” was the theme which was carried out carefully. How about the fun dances? The Warriorettes went all out to entertain the studentbody with their theme “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. And that we did. Followed by the Pep Club dance of “Saturday Night at the World”, where the students enjoyed seeing the murals of different countries. For many students, the high point of their year was participating in different activities. The studentbody had the opportunity to enjoy the finished result, but those involved had the priceless experience of helping decorate the Warrior Gym. We will cherish these moments. |
