Show WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE? Teacher, sorry I'm late, but it wasn’t my fault. | was up late doing homework and got up an hour late because my alarm didn’t go off. Then | had to milk the Cows so | could have milk for my cereal. While | was doing that, Ol’ Bessie kicked me in the head and knocked me unconscious. When | woke up, there were doctors and nurses running around and hovering over me. In the confusion, | got knocked out of the bed, hit my head, and remembered | had school today. So | rushed home to finish getting ready. When | got into the shower, | realized the pipes were frozen, so of course | had to wait for them to thaw. | mean how could | leave without my morning shower? You'll never believe what happened next. | couldn’t find my keys! Well, | had to take the bus and you know how they are. It was ten minutes late. When | got here, | dropped my books all over the hall and everyone was stepping on them and kicking them around. Boy, did | have a hard time picking them up, and | still don’t think | got all my papers back. And do you know what? My locker wouldn't open so | had to go find a janitor. Then | was finally ready to head for class. | ran as fast as | could until Mr. Bruce stopped me for running and not having a hall pass. When | explained my sad story, he let me go and that’s why I’m late so please don’t mark me taray, 0.k.!? e explains a SSS Se Karl Jacobson and chemical reactions.
