Show ENGINEERING A student who has the available time or who is irregular in his registration is advised to use five years for the completion of courses in the fiela of engineering. This extra time, will enable him to include electives- outside of engineering to broaden his education. The student's adviser wilt assist in a systematic arrangement of subjects on this basis. LEADING TO THE STUDY OF LAW A student preparing for the study of law should complete all regular requirements for the title of Associate of Arts or Associate of Science. The student should, with the advice and consent of his adviser and the teacher concerned, select courses pre-legal in content. Such courses as stenography, typewriting, business law, shop practice, music, and drawing may not satisfy the entrance requirements to the law schools. A student planning to meet requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree, which is required by some schools for entrance to law, should pursue a foreign language. A student should also pursue a foreign language if he knows it is required in the law school that he expects to attend. A student should not fail to consult the catalogue of the particular school where he intends to pursue his law work, because the pre-legal requirements vary in different schools. |
