Show 16 done Thomas S. Wadsworth. Thomas Share Wadsworth was the soil of Jonathan Wadsworth and Ann Share. He was born Oct. 6, 1838 at Bradford, Yorkshire, England. He came to Utah in Sept.1853, in David Wilkins' Company. He married Catherine Moore, daughter of Jacob Moore and Catherine Jarmon, who were pioneers of Oct. 1864. Mr. Wadsworth was Captain of Artillery of the Nauvoo Legion under General Chauncey W. West in 1862. He and his fam¬ily were early settlers in Morgan. He was sherriff here in 1890. Justice of the peace in morgan County for eight years, and Juvenile Judge for several years. He was a physician. He died May 20, 1920, Mrs. Wadsworth died Oct. 16, 1918. |
