Show Epilogue Spring day is done. Vacuously fluttering, New leaves whisper of the passing ray: Dimmed to opalescent hue beneath the sway Of dusk's velvet robe. Swiftly, soft gloom fills the deep'ning vale, Until one blood-red beacon of light Flashes valiantly 'cross my line of sight - A dying ray - a lingering remembrance. And likewise now our day is done. As commencement nears - our deep'ning night, Shattered momentarily by light - a beam In which lie softly sketched faces, my heart's Greatest treasure - my friends, to all Whom I wish God's blessings and care. |
