Show FRI. JAN. 10, 1919 Have been very buisy all day. Attended a meeting at Red Cross to arrange a welcome home to the Battery B. boys who will be thru here on Wednesday. A letter came from Junior Mother Have spent the evening writing looking over accts Wrote Junior SATURDAY 11 Have cleaned & baked some today Made doughnuts as Dr will not eat Bakers D O Juielia Rich spent the evening here. Retire late Dr very tired is so buisy all the time Mr Thomas Carr died SUNDAY 12 No Sunday Schools as yet owing to Influenza. Juielia Rich had dinner with us. Cleone here for awhile. About six this eve Dr & I drove down to Layton to see E.P. Ellison & family spent a pleasant hr. Came home & found Mr Mrs H. Russell & family here MON. JAN. 13, 1919 Was informed at eleven oclock today that I was to act as chairman over Weber State for the Armenian Drive. Weber Co has to raise 15000 Drive will last one week. Called Sisters Flygare & Thomas to help one get the Literature & Buttons etc out to all the Wards here. Had a meeting of the Relief Society Pres tonight at home. Avon out Lillian Corey & husband called. TUESDAY 14. Made six D of Daughters for the RC Canteen. WEDNESDAY 15 The 145 Division came in this A.M. Home from Over Seas 14 thousand men. Many Utah boys Battery B. most all from Utah A parade all served with box lunch. Left at 1 P.M. for Logan to be discharged. Happy bunch |
