Show Marsha Anderson, Carol Degiorgio. Bous & Girls’ State Utah Girls’ and Boys’ State, held each summer at Utah State University, is a program set up to teach young men and women to understand the rights and responsibilities of American citizens. This was learned through actual participation in control of the city, county, and state offices. Government structure and operation, democracy and freedom were campaigned taught. Delegates between parties, own bills, made their own they made. The American Legion elected their own presented and officials, argued their laws, and enforced the laws Auxiliary selected these out- standing students to attend the eight-day program on the basis of leadership, good character, honesty, and enthu- siasm. All of our delegates fulfilled the qualifications.
