| Biographical/Historical Note |
Born 12 Feb 1805, Fletcher, Vermont. Married (1) Rosetta Bull; (2) Elizabeth Smith. Died 4 May 1885, St. George, Utah. Parents – Peter Thurston and Hannah Butler Wheeler. Came to Utah – Oct 1847, and lived that winter in their wagon. One of the first white settlers to Morgan Valley, then known as Weber Valley. (This picture is Item No. 179 in the Morgan, Utah Pioneer Memorial Building.) |
