McCall, lil, M.Div. Deacon Dale Griffin Sister Tamara Larry Senior Pastor Chair of Deacons Chair of Trustees June 30,2015 Re: Letter of Condolence To the family of Deaconess Pauline Elizabeth Cook McCall, We, the New Zion Baptist Church family, desire to join in with you as you celebrate the life of Deaconess McCall and would like to extend our heartfelt love and condolences to you in the passing of your Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and friend, who God saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed Mother McCall’s weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be Thine” on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. The Word of God tells us in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and | will give you rest.” (CSB) We know that life is the greatest gift God has given us and that death is only a bridge towards eternal life with God. Certainly heaven is rejoicing for another soul has finally reached her true home. During this difficult time, we commend you in to the capable hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ for God’s Word reminds us that He is a very present help. Therefore, we know your loss is deep and your sorrow is great; but more importantly, we recognize that this loss is Heaven's gain. It is our humble prayer that when it is all over, we would like you to remember: “there’s one certain thing in all this, one thing more powerful than the sadness you feel, God’s love is here - to surround you, to strengthen you and to carry you. His love will pierce the darkest hour you walk through to bring hope, comfort and rest to your soul.” Praise the Lord for loaning her to you for 83 wonderful years and has now afforded her a home on high! Because Christ Lives, “There is one body; and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.” Cphesiang 44 |
