Show James Edward (Sonny) George OGDEN - James (Sonny) George passed away January 21, 2006. He was the youngest of 17 children born to Lonnie and Savannah George. _- He was reared p= in. Los. Angeles, | ~ CA: He was an} | avid: football fan, the result of playing varsity foot‘Dall. in. high school and also at kos Angeles Harber College. James loved mu- ge. sic and tested the“ ar nerves of his baby sister by racic: ing: the horn loudly. He loved to téase everybody and seemed to get a real kick from their laughter and frustration. He enjoyed cooking and eating. good food. He was married to Patsy Gordon and together they reared five hildren. This union came to a lose in 1989 when Patsy went to be with the Lord. He was a master achinist for Northrop, McDonnell Douglas and Envirotech until he reired. James asked the Lord for a pecial person to share his life. He met his: Soul Mate in the person of Deborah Martin and the two were united in Holy Matrimony in 1995. They enjoyed traveling, history, bible study, bargain hunting, music, old cars, and most of all, each others company. James and his Soul Mate shared the belief that family is number one. He was an active minister, under the leadership of Elder John Miller at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. He loved quartet gospel music and would sing it to lift the spirits of anyone that was willing to listen. He had the gift of making everyone smile and he never refused to listen to anyone that needed help and fo encourage them through the Word of God, usually closing the conversation by singing one of his-favorite songs, | Found All That | Need in the Lord.
