Show year courses, with the provision that students who had previously registered for a shorter course would be permitted to graduate from the course in which they had registered, if they so desired. From this tine on Weber continued as a four year high school until the time came when high school work was eliminated from the church schools. Four years' work was given until 1920-21. The following two years, 1921-22 and 1922-23, the first year was eliminated, giving only the second, third and fourth year high school. At the close of the year 1922-23, all high school work was dropped at Weber. The growth of the school during the high school period can best be represented by a chart. See Figure 4. In connection with the high school work at Weber, two special church school courses should be mentioned. On December 10, l894, a short Sunday School course was added to the curriculum. The course was taught each year until the close of the year 1904-05, at which time it was discontinued. It was a short term course, usually running from November until April or May. The classes provided were theory and practice of teaching in the Sabbath Schools, certain theological classes, and some electives. Most of the students elected such subjects as arithmetic and grammar. Some of the advanced students elected high school studies. Starting with the year 1900-01 and running through the year 1910-11, the Academy offered a one year Missionary course. Toward the end of this period, the General Board of Education of the Church and the First Council of Seventy suggested a two year Missionary course; however, only the first year of the course seems to have been taught at Weber.
