Many of the above courses are taught each quarter, therefore, a student may choose the quarter he desires to pursue specific subjects. A student who intends to teach in the high school should consult the Adviser of Education regarding the substitution of courses and requirements for specific colleges. LEADING TO THE STUDY OF SOCIAL WORK A student preparing for social work should complete all regular requirements for the title of Associate of Arts or Associate of Science, and in addition, should complete Sociology 1, 2, and 8. It is recommended that the student take a course in each of the following social sciences: Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and Philosophy. 3 |
