Normal Registration The normal registration for any one quarter is fifteen quarter hours, exclusive of physical education. Freshman Orientation Day On Friday, October 2. 1942, a Freshman Orientation Day will be held at Weber College. The morning will be devoted to a mass assembly where the incoming new students will be greeted by the sophomores, student officers, and faculty; the afternoon will be devoted to final registration. Grades and Grade Points The grading system consists of four passing grades: A. B. C. D.; failure: E, incomplete: I; withdrawn: W. Exceptional accomplishment is denoted by the grade of A; superior, B; average, C; and inferior, D. When a student is dropped from a class because of inferior work or excessive absences, a final mark of E is recorded. Grade points or honor points are assigned as follows: Each hour of A grade counts three points; B grade, two points; C grade, one point; D grade, no point; and E grade, minus one point. The total of honor points thus obtained is divided by the total hours registered. A ratio of 2.50 represents high honors. A student must make a ratio of at least 1.0 for graduation. 24 4?e&£ cwtd £xfteMdel Winter Spring Total $ $10.00 17.00 17.00 51.00 4.00 2.00 12.00 .50 .75 .75 2.25 1.00 1.00 Fees and Expenses Fees are required as follows: Autumn Registration Fee $10.00 Tuition _ .... 17.00 Student Activity Fee _ 6.00 Class Fee _ 50 Lyceum 75 Health Service _. 1.00 Towel Service ... 1.00 36.25 $21.75 $19.75 $77.75 Student activity, class, arid lyceum fees are required of all full-time students.
