During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Friday, August 6 Saturday, August 7 Logan Utah We came up to reunion of Rich family. Dinner and evening in Logan canyon at Contero Camp. Nice time good dinner. Lyman Rich showed pictures. Colocrom slides of trek from Nauvoo to Salt Lake Big turnout and good time We stop at Eccles Hotel in Logan Our family there except Dr Jr who are on trip in North West Sunday, August 8 Event to honor First Harvest 1948 Commemorating the centennial of the first general harvest in Utah, members of the Charles C. Rich family will hold a reunion Saturday and Sunday at the boys camp in Logan canyon. Charles C. Rich was an early leader of the L. D. S. church and, in the absence of Brigham Young, was in charge of the first Utah harvest. The reunion is expected to draw about 400 people. It will open with a Saturday afternoon program. A religious service and election of officers will be held Sunday. Feature will be in the singing of a cantata, Triumph of Faith by Austin Seager and Mary J. Koldewyn, of Ogden. The composition is by Gladys Rich. Col. Arnold Rich and Wendell Q. Rich will speak during the day. |
