- - eal - a — JEAN-MARIE —_ LONDEIX Jean-Marie Londeix, alto saxophone soloist with The University of Michigan Symphony Band, has concertized extensively throughout the world and has earned an international reputation as a premier alto saxophonist. A graduate of the famed Paris Conservatory, Mr. Londeix was a recipient of the famous “first prize” in solo competition while a student at the conservatory. In France, Mr. Londeix is professor of saxophone at the Dijon Conservatory. Mr. Londeix was a visiting lecturer in saxophone at The University of Michigan this past year and returns from France for this specific western tour as saxophone soloist with The University of Michigan Symphony Band.
