From the beginning of his tenure as president, Brady emphasized the importance of making Weber State College a superior undergraduate college stressing teaching excellence. In addition to his business and educational service, Brady has been active in a variety of church, civic and service organizations. Most notably, he has been active in the Boy Scouts of America and has received the Silver Beaver and Silver Buffalo awards from that organization. In March 1985 in a letter to the Utah State Board of Regents, Brady announced he would resign his post as president on July 1, 1985 in order to involve myself in new and exciting dimensions of public service. In April 1985, the Weber State College Institutional Council awarded Brady the status of President-Emeritus. On May 3, 1985 Brady was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Bonneville International Corporation, a position he continues to hold. Board of Regents Chairman Donald B. Holbrook places the medal of office on President Brady at inaugural ceremonies held on October 10, 1978 Stephen D. Nadauld1985Stephen D. Nadauld was born on May 31,1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is the son of Sterling D. and Lois Madsen Nadauld. He received a B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1967, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1969. While attending Harvard he was a member of the East Coast Championship Rugby team. Nadauld received his Ph. D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1978. While working on his Ph.D, Nadauld was an instructor of finance at the University of California at Berkeley from 1972-1976. In 1976 he was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year in the School of Business of that university. He also attended the University of Idaho in 1960-1961, where he was a member of the track and cross country teams, and Ricks College in the Spring of 1964. Nadauld served a mission for the LDS church in France from 1961-1964. In 1969-1970, he served as assistant to the chairman of the board of the Holly Sugar Corporation. He joined the University of Utah as an instructor of finance from 1970-1972. Nadauld married Margaret Dyreng on July 19, 1968 and they are the parents of seven sons. From 1976 until 1983, Nadauld was a member of the faculty at Brigham Young University serving as a professor of finance and Director of the M.B.A. program. He was honored as an Outstanding Professor of the BYU Graduate School of Management in 1977. In the Summer of 1982, Nadauld was an Ayres Fellow of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Rutgers, New Jersey, where he spent several weeks lecturing at an institute sponsored annually by the American Bankers Association for some 2000 bankers.
