Show The Pink Ladies of Sharmea began the year' 1964-65 with "Rush." Their gay, french spirits and close sisterhood created an atmosphere of friendship and belonging for the new freshmen girls. Their Christmas decorations in the Ogden Municipal Park brought them second place honors and receiving grade point displayed their academic abilities. Winter quarter brought about preparations for Songfest and the new deep-rose blazer jackets that were worn were striking against the blues of the new Fine Arts Auditorium. This was the first year that the Songfest was held on Weber's campus and a long awaited dream came true that night. Snow Carnival, exchanges with Phoenix and club parties kept Sharmea busy. In the spring, Talent Show, Easter Breakfast and the annual Collegiate Promenade were held. Again Sharmea received the award for high grade point and tradition, memories and lasting friendships were attained. Sharmea Sharmea blend their voices at Songfest.
