Show Gary (Madson) came & told of birth of a new brother. 14 years after his last brother. Ward Bishopric came & brot a box of candy for each of us. Numerous gifts received for both Nan & myself. The gifts I sent (100 in all gratefully received. Many appreciative letters & cards. Marie helped to get out some cards but still some unsent. Sunday Dec. 30 To Sunday School and Fast Meeting. Dinner at home. Listened to the Messiah oratorio at Salt Lake. An inspiring experience. Nan out in later pm. Arch. Peg. Margaret, Maren & Anta (& Jiggs, the dog) came visiting pm. We all enjoyed the Christmas together with all our lights burning. Various good programs on TV & radio. Nan home at 10. I find myself tired after prolonged festivity |
