Show Tuesday April 2 Winter is with us again. A general snow storm has threatened the earth and continues during am. Mr. Knapp and Mrs. Tooney of the hospital came for a visit to get me caught up in affairs at that busy institution pleasant visit. Miss Anna Rasmussen came to visit pm. Nans Melba & son Tom came for a brief call. Much phoning all day, made this a busy time. Talked with Edith re Harold a problem Nan & I to Clear Leaf at Five Points for supper. Played some checkers in eve. & for once I won. Weather cleared off in pm. Wednesday 3 Sun shining brightly this am. as though nothing had happened yesterday I to LL Club 1 pm with Marion Pugmire at Helen Stones. As usual a good luncheon and a book read by Marion Pugmire Home at 430 Nans day out. Sharon came at 730. We began to read Benets John Browns Body. Spent a very inspirational eve. Nan home early. She gave us nice refreshments. Some checkers. |
