Show Wednesday 6 Cont and Mrs Kiesel. Did not stay for eating but had a nice visit with many friends. Nan brot me home at 1245 spent pm & eve alone as Sharon was ill and could not come. Made several phone calls to friends. Nan home at 10 pm & we played checkers to a late bed time. Much talk about Edith & her buying of a house Mr. Shew working on the bed room door. Thursday 7 Room really torn up today while Jack made the hole for the door & gets it placed My room in a mess but we arranged for sleeping Reading a little in new Readers Digest. In eve out for a ride. Called at Scotts & picked up some groceries. A late supper & few games of checkers Jack made good progress on door. |
