Show Sat 23rd Lovely bright weather. Rather a restless day Around home until 5 pm. Drove around for a nice ride & had supper at Brattons Played some checkers before going to bed. Talks with all family Edith still on house deal. Sunday 24 Breakfast too late for us to get to Sunday school. Went at 1130 & waited for class to be dismissed & fast meeting to start. A special Sunday 24 Cont session to make change the Bishopric Bishop Shurtliffs illness. Dr. Marvin Lewis appointed with two younger assistants. Home for dinner at 130. Interrupted by visit from Thorpe Isaacson and Mr. & Mrs. Knapp. Nan to see Thorpe but he does not look so well. Blanche Johnston came for fund donation. Helen Harding came to get information re Martha Society. We finally ate dinner at 4 pm. Nan & out for a good ride in the fine weather. Nan out for rest of eve. Talks on phone & radio programs |
