Show Sunday 27 Sunday school 10 am followed by fast meeting. Home at 1 pm. & read papers, etc. until 230 when we picked up Edith for lunch. Drove to Graycliff which we found closed & after the long trail out to Maddox. A good dinner. Home at 5. Nan took Edith back home to go to a show with her family. Nan visited around until 830 I spent a restful eve alone until she came home. Monday 28 My right leg bothered me greatly yesterday and is not much better today. Some reading am & until we went out in car at 3 pm. Rather a gloomy, threatening day. The whole world in a mess with cold, snow & clogged roads. Peggy called in eve. They are well but tired from rush of daily events. |
