A former teacher and principal, a father, and a resident of the county, Mr. Bates combines a likeable personality and a desire for a modern progressive school system. Arta, tes ' PS OUR SCHOOL BOARD Representatives of the people—our board of education— these five men are elected to express the desires of the parents of the county concerning the policies and operation of our school system. Their advice and opinions guide the superintendent's actions and determine the direction of the progress for our educational organization. Fathers all, they are sincerely interested in seeing that their children obtain the best possible training and educational experience. Representing various districts in the county, they voice the attitudes of the taxpayers and parents and see that we are provided with a rich, practical and idealistic scholastic background. MR. A. Earl Swenson is indispensable to efficient and effective operation of our schools.
