Miss Shurtlitf and Miss Littlefield, advisors, and the officers, Juanitta Wolsey, President; Jean Taylor, Vice President; Shyral Holmes, Secretary; Carol Nelson, Treasurer, have worked hard to give this foundling group a good start. They met once every month and had parties and worked on projects. During the year they got red coat style sweaters. Their symbol is octagonal and in the center is a house supported by two hands ''which symbolizes that the future homes of America are in the hands of its youth." aa One of Miss Shurtliff's sewing classes stitches and unpicks, | |
