Tournament Winners—Renae Sharon Hansen, and Jean Indoors or outdoors the gym classes were one of the most active organizations at Weber. Fall found the girls out on the field aiming at targets with bows and arrows. While the weather was still they warm, alternated Action on the Volleyball Court between speedball and softball. When the winter snows began to fall, the girls trotted indoors and tried their hands at hit-pin, volleyball, tenniquoit, basketball, and tumbling. The gym was usually filled with shouts and laughter but sometimes there was a pause when soft music filled the air and the girls learned the art of social danc- ing with the boys’ gym classes. Bie Intramurals were held in volleyball, basketball, and softball. All in all the year was filled with action and activity for the lively group.
