Strong The following curriculums are designed for students who desire a one year program in advertising design, sign writing and display, and illustration. The commercial art program is organized to offer courses in advertising art, sign writing, display and illustration. A student majoring in commercial art may register for either vocational trade or transfer courses. See Department of Art, page 62. Clark One-Year Program The following curriculum is designed for the student who desires to take work in Cosmetology only, and who plans to qualify for the State Board Examination at the completion of one year of training. At the completion of this curriculum, a Certificate of Proficiency may be awarded.
