Show Morgan Pioneer History Binds Us Together We Express Our Grateful Appreciation ... To the International Society of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, President Mary A. Johnson, and her wonderful board, for their inspiration, for their advice, for photographs and histories, and for their encouragement and example. To the Morgan County Historical Society (MCHS) for photographs and advice. To the citizens of Morgan County who have kept loving records of their ancestors and who have shared family histories and photographs to make this dream a reality. It would be difficult to list all the wonderful people who have submitted and helped, and still have room for the pioneer histories. We are so grateful for all of the contributions. Their names are on file in the Morgan County D.U.P. Museum, as well as the listings of children's names that are not included in this book. Records are available for research. To Susan Waytas, of DocuMart Printing, who has given so freely of her time, advice and hard work, and who has made numerous trips to Morgan on our behalf. Her kindness, knowledge and dedication is greatly appreciated. To Jeanine W. Carter for her many efforts to make this project successful. To DeAnn R. Fresh, Director of Book Sales To Barbara Whittier, Marge Taggart, Veloy Dickson, Anna Porter, and Marge Carruth who have contributed in countless ways. To the past historians who have kept such good records. To our current Camp Captains: Vema Haslam, Fern Covill, Doris Sanders, Joyce Bingham, Melanie Lane, and Diane Bohman. To Dr. A. Earl McCain who has used his active retirement from Weber State to edit and make excellent suggestions for the manuscript. To the men and women themselves, who took the time to write their experiences as they lived them, for keeping journals and diaries as events occurred; and who shared verbally with their progenity the proceedings of their daily lives. Because of all of you, this accolade stands as a memorial to our courageous Pioneers. |
